Directions

From Melbourne Airport

Proceed towards Melbourne along the Tullamarine Freeway and exit at Sharps Road (Western Ring Road) and continue to Greensborough. From Greensborough follow the signs to Diamond Creek, Kangaroo Ground, Yarra Glen and then Healesville. From Healesville along the Maroondah Hwy enjoy some of Victoria's most magnificent Mountain Ash forests. At Narbethong turn right on the Acheron Way and enjoy the short drive to Marysville.

From Melbourne CBD (west)

From Central Business District take best available route to Hoddle Street (Punt Road) and proceed to the commencement of the Eastern Freeway (turn left) and proceed to the Springvale Road turnoff at Nunawading. At the end of the Eastern Freeway turn right onto Springvale Road and proceed 3 kms to Maroondah Hwy (turn left). Follow Maroondah Highway through Ringwood, Lilydale, Coldstream, Healesville, to Narbethong. Turn right at Narbethong to Marysville (10 kms). On entering Marysville, go straight at the roundabout onto Murchison Street, The Cumberland is then on the left next to Keppel's Hotel.

From Dandenong (south)

From Dandenong city centre head directly north along Stud Road to its conclusion on Mountain Highway at Wantirna and turn right. After railway crossing at Bayswater turn left onto Scoresby Road and proceed to Canterbury Road (turn right). Proceed along Canterbury Road to Lilydale, and turn right onto Maroondah Highway. Follow Maroondah Highway (as if from CBD) to Narbethong then turn right at the Marysville turn off (turn right).

From Sydney, Albury, Seymour (north)

From the Hume Highway at Seymour turn left onto the Goulburn Highway. Proceed through the township of Seymour, and then the towns of Trawool, Kerrisdale and Yea to Alexandra. At Alexandra turn right onto the Maroondah Highway towards Buxton, and then left onto the Marysville Road.
